The Institute for Quality

The Institute for Quality shaped its service to specialise in the changing education and training legislation in South Africa. The new legislation is fantastic and holds promise to build a productive society. The strength lies in its implementation that calls on all business to lead in the empowerment of South Africans.

New thinking is needed. New energy with passion for developing South Africans, with firm commitment to support increased employment and develop productive citizens. Strategies to take our great legislation and translate it to workable action steps for employers are urgent.

IQ found its reason to be born. To start a course in the development of people with novel strategies, unique methods that have produced the results South Africa needs. Traditional ways of training and service provisioning became obsolete. Changing gears for training companies of the past has proven to be difficult, as it requires an entire paradigm shift, a rethink and re-schooling of all practices.

IQ responds to these needs expertly with the endorsements and support of all the SETA’s within which it serves. Since its implementation several accolades and praise has been forthcoming from our stakeholders, which included SETA’s, Labour and employer companies alike.

Our greatest strength has been work within the SMME sector. A sector often ignored by many stakeholder organisations. Companies pay their skills development levies as required by legislation but they have not had the expertise to translate these into any value that could impact and catapult the bottom line. YOU CAN EXPECT THIS!!!

Services go beyond assistance in claiming back grants. In the last two years we have got our clients millions of rands for the training of staff on full qualification through the learnerhip fund. We have taken companies through small baby steps, harnessed the responsibility of the administration and implementation of internal training at no cost to the company. The results have been phenomenal. Thousands of learners from companies were placed on full qualification and graduated successfully. The success stories speak for themselves.
